Great day at the Great Lakeside Puzzle Dash hosted by Virginia Jigsaw Puzzle Association at Saunders Fire Station.
The event opened up with a solo round, followed by an exciting pairs challenge with 90 minutes to complete the puzzle.

On 07/18/2026 at 3:19 PM, Company 10 (1st due) was dispatched to Planters Dr., Huddleston, for a reported brush fire. Upon arrival and investigation, firefighters determined that a tree had been struck by lightning. The fire had already been extinguished prior to arrival. Firefighters wet down the tree and surrounding area, then checked for hot spots and no traces were found.

At 8:21 AM on 07/09/2026, Company 10 (2nd due) responded to a vehicle collision with a tree on Leesville Rd, Lynch Station, where injuries were reported. After conducting an investigation, Company 10 directed traffic and provided assistance with vehicle removal.
